Network Transfer – Generator

Rotary transfer switches can be applied to switching between different power sources for the same load, such as switching between the electrical network and an electrical generator.

This type of switch finds application where there cannot be a power interruption or where the use of generators is a better or only alternative to using the electrical grid. They can be manufactured in up to 24 poles, with 3 or 4 poles being the most commonly used applications. When purchased with a 0″ position, they are often applied with the addition of the accessory that holds 3 simultaneous padlocks, ensuring safety for the maintenance team.

THS Rotary Keys are manufactured in 4 size families. The maximum dimensions and drilling dimensions for fixing the keys to the equipment are given in the following tables. The dimensions basically depend on the key size family (D0, D1, D2 or D2x2), the type of key fixation (at the top, “E” or at the base, “V”) and the number of chambers that make up the key .
